We don't load our cookies with preservatives, but we do individually heat seal them to ensure they are good for up to two weeks. For that right out of the oven experience, warm in the microwave for a few seconds or in the oven at 350 degrees F for 2 to 3 minutes or until warm.

To preserve their freshness, if you don't think you'll consume some of your cookies within two weeks Chef Whitney recommends freezing them in their package or placed in a freezer zip top bag. They'll stay good for up to 4 months and when you're ready to enjoy them, just allow the cookies to thaw and then warm in the microwave for a few seconds or a 350 degrees F oven for about 2 to 3 minutes or until warm.

We ship orders Monday through Friday but we always attempt to maximize freshness and reduce the amount of time they may sit with the shipping carrier! We ship via UPS or USPS Priority for delivery usually within 2 to 3 days.

All of our cookies are individually packaged, sealed, labeled, and boxed with crinkle paper and bubble wrap for protection.

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Please note, we are not able to request shipping carriers deliver to a specific place (mailbox, porch, etc.) or at a specific time.

Warm Weather Note: We agree, it’s hot! Please note that our cookies are not shipped in insulated boxes nor with ice packs. We recommend tracking your order so you can bring them in as soon as possible. Your cookies may arrive a little warm from their journey, but rest easy they are still delicious! A few minutes in the fridge or left inside to cool and they’ll be ready to enjoy.

I like to consider myself a cookie expert, and let me tell you- these are my absolute favorite. Very consistently delish, great and easy to use website for ordering, and if you are lucky enough to visit the store, wonderful staff and fresh cookies! My absolute fav. :) Keep up the good work! Yummy!

Amazing client response to these cookies

Each holiday season we send cookies to many of our clients. It's mostly been from a big box wholesale club the last few years, sending prepackaged cookies and treats from a "field."
This year we found Whitney's Cookies. We had tasted these several months ago while visiting Nashville and just loved them.
Well, the magic of social media marketing found us this month and since we had enjoyed the cookies so much we thought we would try to send them to our clients this year. This is a smaller operation(or so we thought), so we were a little concerned about their ability to send out what ended up being 20+ dozen cookies to several of our clients on the west coast.
I jumped onto the Whitney's Cookies website and found out they not only ship nationwide, but we could choose to make a custom order or easily order a set list of assorted. We sent assorted dozens to our clients and we were informed of the progress of each order along the way...from order received to shipped to tracking and finally delivered. They have a great system to keep you informed, even better than some huge corporations we deal with.
This is also the first time I received several responses from clients of accolades regarding the amazing taste and quality of the cookies they received. One client even made it a point to write down the website as they were going to sign up for a monthly subscription.
We knew these cookies were a quality and tasty product and now our clients do too and we are extremely happy that we now have a new "go to" client gift source. Thank you Whitney and Co. for the great product and taking care of our Christmas list. See you soon!!
