Chef Whitney Miller was inspired to create this cookie from her love of caramel apples. She infused this cookie's dough with apple flavor and then added dried apple pieces. For the reminiscent sweet, chewy caramel, she added caramel bits and a chocolate covered caramel candy to the center of the cookie. Lastly, she folded in rich chocolate chips. She loves an over-the-top caramel apple and it is reflected in this cookie.
